Anna Sullivan,17, of Houston, Texas, is a rising senior at Kent School in Connecticut.

She enjoys playing tennis, volleyball, baking and spending quality time with friends. She formed powerful fundraising teams and competed for two local blood cancer survivors in Blood Cancer United. She said she raised the most funds during her time there and was named Visionary of the Year. This past summer Anna was a camp counselor at a children’s day camp where she mentored kids and gave them tours of the camp.

Anna is interested in TCU’s communications and marketing programs, which is ultimately what led her to attend Schieffer Summer Journalism Camp. She is also interested in journalism and the opportunities it has to offer. She said she hopes to build her resume and continue to meet new people through her experience at camp.  

“My dream vacation is the beautiful Lake Como in Italy and my favorite shows are “Gossip Girl” and “The Summer I Turned Pretty ,” Anna said.
