Caroline Cook, 17, is a rising senior at Lake Highlands High School in Dallas. An interest in writing and public speaking led her to journalism.
Cook plans on taking a journalism course at Lake Highlands during the upcoming school year.
Cook enjoys listening to music and watching movies. Her favorite music artist is Hozier and her favorite movie is “Little Women.” Her favorite color is purple, horses are her favorite animal and ice cream is her favorite treat.
She said she came to the journalism camp to learn more about journalism and strengthen her writing skills. She said the camp’s small membership makes it easy to connect with everyone and socialize.
