Ellington Holkmann, 17, is a rising senior at the Young Men’s Leadership Academy in Fort Worth.
He said he is attending the summer journalism camp to gain experience and a better understanding in not only journalism but the industry as a whole. He said a friend encouraged him to get involved with journalism. Ellington holds the record for the most viewed article in the school’s history.
He is the vice president of the class of 2025. He is known for his strong work ethic and artwork that has earned him numerous ribbons and a gold medal.
Ellington was born in Manhattan, New York native but moved to Fort Worth in 2021.
