Kriti Chandra,16, is a rising junior at Liberty High School in Frisco, Texas. In 2022, she moved to the Dallas-Fort Worth area from Southern India. At school, Kriti is involved in dance class and the French club.
She applied to the Schieffer Summer Journalism Camp to explore her interest in the field of journalism and to see if she would like to pursue it as a career.
Outside of school, Kriti enjoys playing badminton with her father and sister and she is considering going professional in the future.
She said that the people who know her best describe her as a caring person who is always happy and is very wise beyond her years.
