RJ Rice is a rising senior at Gahanna Lincoln High School in Gahanna, Ohio, a small town in the Columbus area.
He reports on the latest goings-on on the school sports teams for the school’s broadcasting team. He said he decided to come to journalism camp in order to improve what he is good at, that being broadcasting, and to explore a possible future career as a sports writer.
He plays on his school’s football team and participates in track and field. In his free time, he enjoys driving and walking and exploring the towns surrounding the Columbus area. He also likes to travel; his favorite destination is Puerto Rico, where several members of his extended family live.
