Sofia Landa, 15, is a rising sophomore at Memorial High School in Houston, Texas.
Sofia is the youngest of four siblings and has a dog named Benny. She plays the violin, dances, and enjoys reading in her free time.
Sofia said she got interested in journalism when she took professional communication in eighth grade and plans to take photojournalism as a junior. She is excited to attend the TCU Bob Schieffer Journalism Camp to get more experience and build her resume. Sofia plans on pursuing a degree in journalism and is excited for the opportunity to grow and meet new people.
