A strong sense of community keeps TCU Horned Frogs happy.
The Princeton Review ranked TCU as the happiest college in the nation. In a student survey, the Frogs agreed the most with the question, “I am happy at my school.”
Additionally, Resume.io first identified TCU as a happy place in 2023, after scraping student instagram accounts and using AI software to identify smiling faces.
According to the AI analysis, “…three in four (76.47%) faces tagged there on Instagram are happy.”
Both sources said they were trying to provide a unique look at campus life beyond the classroom and academics.
Furthermore, TCU residents also credit the 275+ student clubs and organizations for the elevated happiness levels.
“It [theater program] was a really cool community to get involved with especially…also joining BSA… which is Black Student Organization [Association and] getting to know people just like me at TCU,” sophomore Gavin Bailey said.
Residents actively participating in student organizations not only find themselves actively creating the sense of home and community for other students, but also establishing that for them too.
