Giselle Kronenberg, 16, of Orinda, California, is an aspiring journalist who traveled to Fort Worth hoping to experience the Schieffer Journalism Camp and increase her knowledge of journalism. She wants to improve her writing skills and learn more about the campus. 

A rising junior at Carondelet High School, she wants to follow in one of her three older brother’s footsteps by attending TCU, majoring in journalism or marketing. Giselle said she likes TCU because of the scenery as well as the people. She said she heard stories of what life is like at TCU from her brother.

In her free time, she finds joy in playing lacrosse, her favorite part is “Being a good teammate and cheering each other on and having fun.” 

Giselle also used to run cross country—she was named MVP her sophomore year. Giselle said she likes to find peace by having frozen yogurt with her friends as well as driving around to see the beautiful Orinda sunset.
