Landon Reed, 16, of Austin, Texas, describes himself as curious, athletic, and easy going. Landon is a rising junior at Cedar Park High School. In his free time, Landon said he likes to play golf, sing in the school choir and produce broadcasting programs. He was nominated for his high school’s Choir All-State team in solo and ensemble.
He said he also enjoys hanging out with his friends. Landon said he decided to attend the Schieffer Summer Journalism Camp to “learn more about journalism and develop his skills.” Reed also has also collected unique accolades.
